GreenCCircle

Julie’s Bicycle Europe is a partner of the GreenCCircle project. GreenCCircle aims to empower Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) to tackle climate change by developing a comprehensive scheme to support them with their climate action. The initiative addresses skills gaps, delivers training in sustainability skills, and will establish a multi-stakeholder ecosystem across 9 countries, fostering collaboration and innovation.

With a focus on the EU Green Deal and Circular Economy principles, GreenCCircle engages learners, facilitates cross-industry fertilisation, and is also developing tools for environmental impact assessment and sustainable business practices. The project will introduce the role of Sustainability Facilitator to CCIs, enhancing their green transformation and resilience. This project not only aims to improve green skills and attitudes but also to foster EU-level collaboration and align with EU values, laying the groundwork for a future social entrepreneurial initiative.

Together we are creating a database of digital tools, guides and courses available to CCIs across Europe that provide guidance and assistance in driving sustainability and climate action.

The GreenCCircle project aims to identify any sector specific gaps in sustainable skills and knowledge, so the project may direct its resources and capacity towards the areas in which it would be most beneficial.
