What Are the GreenCCIrcle Living Labs?
The GreenCCIrcle Living Labs are collaborative, hands-on spaces where cultural and creative professionals gather to explore, test, and co-create sustainable solutions. Bringing together artists, designers, festival organisers, researchers, and policymakers, these workshops serve as an incubator for the GreenCCIrcle Academy and HUB. Participants exchange practical knowledge, challenge assumptions, and experiment with new ideas. Beyond testing tools, the Living Labs drive a collective European learning journey—fostering a growing community committed to ethical leadership, innovation, and a sustainable future for culture.
Shared Learning Across Three Sessions
Julie’s Bicycle Europe delivered three distinct Living Labs: an in-person workshop at Segotia in Dublin and two virtual sessions focused on the Sharing Economy and Policy Making. Across all three events, we were joined by highly experienced individuals from a wide variety of organisations across Ireland’s arts and culture sectors. Together, participants explored how shared resource pools, circular materials, and informed policy frameworks can drive systemic change, ensuring top-down strategies support grassroots sustainability efforts.
